Calvary Christian Union (CCU) Church was established on March 4, 2018, in downtown Excelsior Springs. Calvary was led by Pastor Ron Johnston who is very passionate about the Lord. If you want to know the whole Bible and its truth, this is the church where you can hear not only the good news of love but also the way to be saved.

There is only one way to Heaven and it is through the narrow path of Jesus.
UPDATE: Pastor Ron has stepped down due to health issues. He is now Pastor Emeritus Ron Johnston. Our new lead pastor is Pastor Steve Harness, since April 2026. He and his family have been a part of our congregation since December 2019. Pastor Steve has led our Bible Study on Wednesday evenings for several years. He is a great preacher and teacher. Please help us welcome Pastor Steve as the new Lead Pastor of Calvary Christian Union!
